After all these years in the United States, I’ve finally grasped something essential about their way of working.
Here, everything rests on a simple principle : action / reaction. You don’t necessarily aim to design a perfect product or a fully developed project before launching. You have an idea, you have a basic understanding… and you go for it. It’s by moving forward that you refine, understand better, improve, until you achieve a solid result.
In the United States, every action triggers an almost immediate reaction. It’s often said to be a land of opportunity, and it’s true, but these opportunities only reveal themselves to those who are proactive, who work hard, who dare. As soon as you take action, the results come quickly. And this responsiveness creates momentum : it fuels motivation, it pushes you to continue, because you quickly see the impact of what you put into it.
